Are you looking to get involved? Do you love Chicago Public Library and believe in its purpose to provide 21st century learning opportunities for all Chicagoans?

If the answer is a resounding “yes”, then consider joining the Chicago Public Library Foundation Junior Board.

Attending Recruitment Night is the first step in the process. New Member Recruitment Night is a casual event where anyone interested in joining the Junior Board can attend to meet and speak with current members of the Junior Board. If you decide you’re interested, candidates are asked to submit an application for membership consideration Friday, May 12.

For details on Junior Board requirements and activities, you can view the Junior Board Frequently Asked Questions. To request a copy of the Junior Board Application or additional information, please contact Kathleen Jacob, Membership Chair at membership@cplfoundation.org.

For 30 years, the Chicago Public Library Foundation has been the Library’s fundraising partner with investments of over $70 million to fund technology, programs, and collection development initiatives that have cemented the Library as a world class institution. As with the Chicago Public Library Foundation, the mission of the Junior Board is to support the creation, promotion and growth of private resources for the benefit of Chicago Public Library.
