Support the Library
For 30 years, the Chicago Public Library Foundation has partnered with civic-minded individuals, foundations, and businesses to invest in our city’s public library system and help it become one of the foremost in the country—and the world. We understand how important it is for our community to have ready access to trusted information, 21st century technologies, and exceptional learning programs. With 80 welcoming branches located in every one of the city’s 77 neighborhoods, the Library is there for people of all ages and incomes living and working in Chicago. Patrons can find programs and services that set our public library system apart and that serve as models for libraries nationwide, such as the Summer Learning Challenge, CyberNavigators, Teacher in the Library, and YOUmedia. These distinctive offerings would simply not be possible without private support, and we are deeply grateful for the transformative investments of our donors. Thank you.
