Ways to Give
Are you curious, about why our donors support the Chicago Public Library Foundation? They explain their support better than we can:
“Chicago Public Library is the city’s real power station. No other cultural or educational institution delivers more to the entire city.”
“While I love to go to the library for books, the library also serves as an after-school safe haven, a tutoring center, a multimedia room, an employment help center, and so much more.”
No matter what shape a gift takes, our generous donors help make possible Chicago Public Library’s award-winning, life-changing programs and services for Chicagoans of all ages. In addition to leading program support provided by individual, corporate, and foundation partners, there are a number of valuable ways to show your dedication to “the home of the Curious.” We invite you to join us in ensuring that our city’s public library system remains one of the best in the country—and the world.
Our Sandburg Society recognizes annual donors who make a gift of $1,000 or more. This crucial support sustains our work and our Associates Board and Council bring together rising leaders in the community to learn more about Chicago Public Library, to raise important funding, and to spread the good word about all the Library does.
