The Chicago Public Library Foundation Associate Board presents Trivia Night on October 23 from 5:30-8:30 at Lagunitas (2607 W 17th St).
Trivia Night will feature a special sci-fi category in recognition of the release of Chicago Public Library’s 2018-19 One Book, One Chicago selection, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick.
Trivia categories will include:
- General Knowledge
- Chicago Public Library Facts
- Beer Facts
- Celebrity Trivia
We encourage guests to attend in groups of four, but will arrange teams for those who are not in a group. Teams will compete for a variety of prizes and the best SWAG the Chicago Public Library Foundation has to offer.
Trivia begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. Lagunitas will be pouring its finest beer until 8:10 p.m. Beer proceeds benefit Chicago Public Library.
Tickets are $20 per person online and $25 at-the-door. Price includes trivia admission and food courtesy of Bacci and Twisted Egg Roll.
Proceeds from the event support educational programs at Chicago Public Library like the Summer Learning Challenge, Teacher in the Library, YOUmedia, CyberNavigators, and One Book, One Chicago.
For those who end up outsmarted, there will be a second chance to win during our raffle drawing. Raffle tickets for two prize packages (1 ticket/$5 or 4 tickets/$15).
Package #1: One gift certificate to LYFE Kitchen and two guest passes to the Driehaus Museum
