Confessions of a Reluctant Homeschooler

Homeschooling your children can be a struggle. The transition is daunting and the challenges are unfamiliar. Don’t worry; you’re not alone. Chicago Public Library is here to help.

Here are some Library resources for you and the whole family:

Brainfuse: Students can get live homework help and online tutoring from 11 am to 11 pm daily. All you need is a library card!

Choose My Plate: Build healthy eating habits for children and the whole family in fun and exciting ways.

Color Fun: Do you need an activity in between class sessions? Print out these coloring pages by local artist Steve Musgrave.

Khan Academy: What even is new math? Learn short math and science lessons through online video courses and practice exercises.

Little Pim:  You and the kids can learn a new language while bonding.

Live from the Library: Join the Library’s virtual story time and read along with Chicago’s most familiar faces and beloved librarians.

Chicago Public Library is here for you like you have been there for us. Once our doors open, we will provide academic support to children to get back on track in school through our accessible programs and services.  We know there are many calls for your support during this time. If you are able, we ask that you consider a gift of any amount to meet emerging needs to help Chicagoans, young and old. Thank you.
