Know Your Chicago is a 68-year-old exploration of our City designed to promote civic awareness and participation in partnership with the University of Chicago’ Graham School an annual fall lecture and tour series designed to promote civic awareness and participation.
On October 18th and 19th, participants of Know Your Chicago will get an inside look at what makes our 36-year partnership with Chicago Public Library work and how minimal investments can impact thousands of Chicago residents through innovative Library programs that expand intellectual curiosity and community engagement. Participants also receive an in-depth tour of Harold Washington Library and the architecturally recognized Chinatown Library Branch, guided by the architects themselves.
