One Book One Chicago Program

A citywide reading program for Chicagoans

The focus of the program is to engage diverse groups of Chicagoans around common themes. Chicago Public Library offers a variety of free public programming, such as book discussions, author series, performances, art exhibits and films organized around one of the book’s main themes. Programming takes place throughout Chicago and in partnership with Chicago’s robust cultural, educational and civic institutions.
