What is the Chicago Public Library Foundation Junior Board you ask? The Junior Board is a group of young professionals (ages 25-40) who support the awareness and fundraising goals of Chicago Public Library Foundation. Joining the Junior Board is a great opportunity for active young professionals to get engaged in the Foundation’s efforts to support innovative learning programs at Chicago Public Library while meeting like-minded individuals who believe in the free and open access to knowledge and learning for all.
Our Junior Board conducts recruitment of new members twice a year during spring and fall. If you’re interested in becoming a member visit our JuniorBoard & Society page.
If you’re a member of a junior/associate board, or if you’re interested in learning more about our recruitment process, check out Recruitment Process: Insights for Effectively Growing Your Board’s Membership written by our very own Junior Board Membership Chair, Kim Kocek, for the All A-Board Alliance.
