Teacher in the Library, Leonetta is the program’s most staunch advocate. “It’s more than just homework help. It’s developing confidence among students. It’s empowering caregivers to guide their children. It’s giving people and communities access, resources, and opportunities to succeed,” she says.
Mr. S, a teacher in the library at the Budlong Branch, is turning “No, I can’t” to “Yes, I can” one lunch question at a time.
