For decades Chicago Public Library has challenged Chicago children to read during the summer. In 2013, with support from Mayor Rahm Emanuel, CPL redesigned its summer program to more intentionally support 21st-century learning.

“Hip-Hop is the largest youth culture in the history of the planet rock.” So states The BreakBeat Poets, a hip-hop group and anthology featuring 78 poets across ages and locations, who are creating the next and now movement(s) in American letters.
